Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy explains how Mallinson Technology Ltd (“we”, “us”), which runs Pucky, collects and uses personal information when you visit pucky.co.uk or get in touch with us.
Who we are
Mallinson Technology Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 07149585, and based in Westerham, Kent, United Kingdom.
For any privacy question or request, email contactus@pucky.co.uk.
What we collect
- Demo requests: your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), what you sell, team size, where your customers are, your preferred day and time, and whether you’d like product news.
- Contact messages: your name, email, company (optional), the topic and your message.
- Emails you send us: whatever you choose to include.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it and why
- To reply to you and arrange demos. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where you’re asking about becoming a customer, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To send product news, only if you ticked the box. Our lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
- To keep the website secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Microsoft Azure hosts the website and processes form submissions.
- Purelymail provides our email, so form submissions and emails you send us are stored in our mailboxes.
- Google Fonts delivers the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our accountants and lawyers.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the UK’s adequacy arrangements for the US (the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as appropriate.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and related emails for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep them for as long as you are a customer and for up to 6 years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. If you withdraw consent to product news, we keep a record of that so we don’t contact you again.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email contactus@pucky.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
