For recruiters

New clients for your desk, addressed to the person who hires.

Pucky finds established employers in your patch, matches them to their directors and opens the conversation for you. You follow up the ones who show interest.

Business development is the hard part of recruitment

Recruiters live on new clients. But every hour spent searching for companies and chasing the right contact is an hour not spent filling roles. And the people who decide on hiring at small and medium firms are often the owners and directors, not a shared HR inbox.

Pucky gives you a steady stream of introductions to established local employers, written personally and sent at a careful pace, so business development keeps happening while you work your live roles.

Because Pucky works from the official register of UK companies, you see employers you might never have found on job boards: the established local firms that hire steadily but rarely advertise. Each one is matched to its directors, so your first message reaches someone who can actually agree to work with you.

How Pucky works for recruiters

Find employers in your patch

Search every company on Companies House, the official UK register. Filter by industry, area, size from filed accounts and years trading. By default Pucky skips businesses less than 12 months old, so you focus on established firms. See UK company search.

Reach the director who hires

Pucky finds each business's website, collects the contact details published there and matches them to the company's directors by name and role. Your email lands with the person who can say yes. Read about finding decision-makers.

Write once, send personally

Templates fill in each person's name, and even a shared inbox gets a director's name. Emails go out steadily in business hours, and you can preview every one first. If one director runs five companies, they hear from you once, not five times.

Know who's warm

See who opened your email and who visited your website. Call them while you're still on their mind. Opens, visits and bounces sit at a glance, with the warmest leads at the top. More on lead alerts.

Keep it running

Automatic outreach picks fresh employers near you every working day and widens the search as nearby leads run out. Approve each batch or let it run.

Describe your ideal client

"Established construction companies in Kent, 5+ years trading."

Pucky turns that into a search across the UK register, then finds the directors behind each company and checks their addresses can receive mail.

Questions from recruiters

Can my consultants share leads without stepping on each other?

Yes. Everyone works from one pipeline and can see where every business stands, with a full history of every email, comment and status change.

Will the same company be contacted twice?

No. Pucky contacts only one company per website domain in each batch and never emails the same business twice. If one director runs several companies, they hear from you once.

What happens if someone asks not to be contacted?

Every email includes one-click unsubscribe, honoured instantly. People who opt out or complain are never emailed again.
